Some how Joe got ahead of himself somewhere over the weekend. Somehow, I didn't notice the error in his thoughts. So long story short we all woke up this morning thinking it was Christmas Eve. The kids were SO excited. I was stresssed. I couldn't figure out how I had so much left to do since I really thought I had planned so well this year. Then after a confusing conversation with my mother-in-law I realized what day it was. I then had to tell the 8,6, and 4 Year old that it was NOT Christmas eve. I have never seen such dissappointment on thier little faces. In my adult mind I knew it would just come a day later....but I remember how important Christmas Eve was to me as a child and I knew better than to convince them that everthing would be fine. So we took them to the movies to "cheer" them up, especially since we had all this "extra" time now. The movie was great BUT way over the head of the girls, who really didn't like it. So all and all the day was a flop. Hopefully the real Christmas Eve will go better.

The Non-Christmas Eve

New Blog
So I have decided to start a new blog. For one I can't remember the info to log into the old blog. Also I feel like a new chapter has started in my life since September and I want a new blog. This one will be less heavy with more pictures. I hope I find the time to keep it up, because I actually really like keeping a blog.
Last night J and E had their Snow Flake gala at their school. It was beautiful. Everyone had to dress up. Jack looked so handsome in his shirt and tie. I even bought him pin stripped pants for the occasion. E had a huge speaking role. She announced the dances for the First Years. I was so impressed with her speaking ability. She wasn't shy or nervous. I was very proud. The children have been learning ball room dancing, taught by a parent who owns a ball room studio. Each class performed a dance and then they taught the parents how to dance. Alumni children served snacks that the children had made all week. It was quite an impressive event and all the kids were really into the dancing.
